Vakasha Sachdev is Associate Editor (Legal) at The Quint. A graduate of National Law School of India University, Bangalore, he is qualified to practice in India as well as England & Wales. After working at law firms in London and Bangalore, he joined The Quint in June 2017, where he reports on proceedings of courts across the country, and analyses and explains judgments, legislation and policy from a domestic and international legal perspective. He was also co-head of The Quint’s award-winning Talking Stalking campaign, with his suggested amendments to the law on stalking in India presented as bills in both Houses of Parliament, and adopted by the Delhi Legislative Assembly in a resolution in 2018.
