Prashanth Nair

Playwright & Theatremaker, India

Prashanth Nair is a playwright and theatremaker from Bangalore with 12 years of diverse work in theatre. He is also the co-founder and artistic director of Tahatto, one of Bangalore’s most prolific theatre companies. His writing is known to be irreverent, curious and searches for a sense of wonder in the mundane. By his own admission, he writes in an attempt to find connection and solidarity in a world that profits from hyper-individualisation. He has been the recipient of The Hindu Playwright Award in 2012.
