Mashuq Mushtaq Deen is an award-winning playwright and author. His play “Draw The Circle” won the Lambda Literary Award for Drama, and is currently being taught at several universities. His play The Betterment Society” will be included in a forthcoming anthology of transgender plays by Methuen Books. His epistolary essay, A Letter To A Thousand Other Mothers, will be published in the upcoming issue of the Journal of Asian American Studies and The Margin. He is currently working on a memoir.
