I Made Sidia, Bali’s most shadow puppeteer, is a master of Topeng (mask) dance, wayang puppetry, kayonan dances and traditional make up and costuming. He is a faculty member at The Arts Institute of Denpasar, Bali. In 2000 he became director of Paripurna Art Company that produces larger than life multi-media shows like The Theft of Sita, The Bali Games (2017) and Bali Agung at the Bali Safari and Marine Park since 2010.
Made has worked extensively around the world with many international directors like Larry Reid in the US, Nigel Jamieson and Peter J. Wilson in Australia and has undertaken many masterclasses and workshops, including UNIMA in Perth.
