Anahita Uberoi

Actor, India

Anahita Uberoi is an actor, director and producer who has worked extensively in New York, Mumbai and Germany over the last 33 years.

Anahita has worked as an assistant director in New York on fifteen productions, both On Broadway as well as Off Broadway where she got the opportunity to work with Oscar award and Tony award winning directors, actor and playwrights.

Anahita has acted in films like Kapoor and Sons, directed by Shakun Batra, Everybody Says I’m Fine, directed by Rahul Bose, Lets Talk, directed by Ram Madhvani, White Noise, directed by Vinta Nanda; Jism, Paap and Holiday, all directed by Pooja Bhatt. Her short film, Afterglow, which she acted in has won the national award as well as several international awards.

Over a period of thirty years, she has conducted theatre workshops for children as well as Adults in Mumbai, and other cities across the country. She has taught children of all ages and has also directed a couple of plays with a caste of over 120 children.

She has also conceived and directed numerous theatrical evenings for spreading awareness for causes along with many prominent actors, directors and choreographers from the world of theatre, tv, cinema and music. She is the Festival director for all of Sanctuary’s environmental events . She is also presently a Creative Consultant for Book My Show.
