Alan Friedman is an award-winning journalist, documentarian and the author of several international best-selling books, including This Is Not America (published in India under the title Democracy in Peril, Om Books) and Berlusconi: The Epic Story of the Billionaire Who Took Over Italy. His books have been translated into 16 languages. Friedman was awarded the British Press Award four times during his career with The Financial Times of London, The International Herald Tribune and The Wall Street Journal. Today he divides his time between the United States and Europe, and is an op-ed columnist for Italy’s La Stampa newspaper. His most recent TEDx Talk was at Oxford in 2018, when he warned about the dangers of a Trump presidency.
